The school year is finally winding down.

So much has happened between the beginning and now.

Real laughs, tears, happiness, and sadness.

I have decided to resume blogging for the shear enjoyment of

telling my story.

I find great pride in keeping tabs on my life, and looking back on lessons learned, great moments, and precious memories.

Let's just hope I can keep it up throughout the summer.

It would be a real bummer if this blog wasted away after one post..

Sometimes life just confuses me. I want so much out of it, all at once. I end up disappointing myself when not everything is achieved. Yes, my whole life is ahead of me. I'm not expecting to "discover" myself.

I just want to be happy with myself.

Happy with who I am becoming, what I am leaving behind, and the pieces of life that are yet to

be discovered,

And not worry about anything or anybody else.

Judging needs to cease

A lot has happened in the days, months, and weeks I have not been blogging. I will eventually have to post a medley of my fondest memories of the times we have been apart.

Despite this lull in blogging, the Christmas season came peeking around the corner, and its merriment inspired me to blog once again!

Bing Crosby is crooning "It's beginning to look like Christmas",

the air is crisp and chilling,

and chai tea is wishing my hands were enclosed around it (wishing because it is not *sigh*)

My dog ate my computer? then regurgitated it into the pool?

haha, ya, definitely not.

So here's the thing.

I had to pay for internet in Hawaii, and honestly I did not want to do that.

(btdubs, the trip was SPECTACULAR.)

Then, we got back. And I realized I had a whole summers worth of English work to do. Soo basically school took up every second of my day. Then school started, and I had to get situated in my classes.

Then came today, and I remembered I had a blog.

Now you're up to date...kinda.

(Did I Mention this is my first time going? I'm uuber excited! Pardon my extreme vocab. It probably wasn't necessary.)

We are leaving in exactly 4 hours and 26 minutes.

I should probably get some sleep.

Here's my luggage though. I actually packed light!

Thats an accomplishment in itself.

1. I am completely in love with Joseph Gordon Levitt. (yes, i understand this is nothing new. everyone is in this same position. cool.)

2. He has a tumblr. YES.

3. This video is epicly amazing. I know it is long, but please take a few (8) minutes out of your day to watch it. It's very thought provoking.

4. I am going on vacation Saturday, which is why there hasn't been many outfit posts. I have just been very busy. I do plan on posting while away, so stay tuned. (to that one of you who actually reads my blog{: )

Joe has an amazing production company called HitRECord, where all types of artists gather to create. Everyone is invited to post ideas/scripts/songs/videos/art to share with the hitrecord community. These ideas are then collaborated with other ideas to make something even grander. Some of the collaborations have even gone on to festivals like Sundance. These projects are truly inspiring, and its amazing how many people are a part of it.

It really is wonderful.

A Large party of Indian people came into work today. I couldn't help but notice their style, beauty, and merry presence. I was really fascinated by the dark eyeliner and mascara and bright colored clothing they sported.

While browsing, I found these images when I got home. I went through some collections as well,and found John Galliano's spring 2003 RTW line. It seemed inspired by the culture too!

But despite this new found fascination, work was lame. It was very longggg and busy and stressful. And I wasn't even tipped 15%.

Boo.

My sister was trying to teach me how to pose...

What a sweetie!

Today I was looking at Karlas Closet- my all time favorite blog-and I kinda had an epiphany.

I need to not plan my life out.

I need to learn to just be myself, and not make myself out of others. I should be inspired, and use that inspiration to mold myself. I need to be genuine, real, and one of a kind.

I should what is right for me and my life.

I'm starting to feel like my old self again. A person who strives for the best. Not someone who is lazy, and does nothing to fix it.

I want to love life, and not worry about what I want others to think of me.

I will take my passions, and keep them as my passions.

This is proof my sister is the model of the family...

I made this beautiful fruit salad for dinner. It was delishhh.

So, after several days of almost throwing my computer into the pool, I FINALLY FIGURED OUT MY PICTURE PROBLEM!
